Sekirei Episode 09: “Feather 09: Veil and Wind”

Summary: Kazehana interrupts the fight between Uzume and Tsukiumi. Musubi runs off with Minato to introduce him to Haruka and Kuno, the Ashikabi and Sekirei trying to escape the city because Kuno is far too weak to do any good in a real fight. Haruka and Minato have a lot in common, so he decides that he will try and help them escape the capital with the help of his Sekirei. The next morning he wakes up to find Uzume and Kazehana naked in bed with him. Even though Kazehana knows Uzume’s secret, the others have not figured out she’s the veiled fighter yet.

Thoughts: This episode upped the fanservice anty by showing not one but three characters completely topless with nipples. This is unusual in that usually there is convenient hair or as in the past, steam, to prevent actual nipples. In this episode we got more than brief shots of Tsukiumi, Uzume, and Kazehana’s large breasts. Once I got over that, this episode didn’t offer much in general plot other than introducing Kazehana, who we saw brief glances of in previous episodes getting drunk. She’s an unwinged Sekirei, so you know what THAT means.
