Akikan! Episode 10

Akikan! Episode 10: “Thanks for the Unchanged Present”

Summary: The three Akikan show how their day goes while their masters are away. Melon does the laundry, takes a nap, and takes a weird bath. Budouko takes a nap, has her hair attacked by a cat, wakes up and lets her hair down, then pretends to be a princess before going back to sleep. Yell begins chores, looks up what the word “Yell” means and takes it upon herself to shout a long meow out the window. She does the laundry, chases a dragonfly around the house, destroying it and having to clean it again, and then pets the cats that return her call.

Thoughts: Despite being somewhat mundane, parts of this episode were funny. Mostly, Yell’s segment as the I thought Melon and Budouko’s were kinda dull. Either way you look at it though, this was a filler episode, which you don’t really need in a 13 episode series.
